I started up our Ultimate Stream Live You Tube channel when Covid first struck in 2020 with a view to interviewing audio equipment founders, designers and key personnel from those companies whose equipment we represent in the UK. The aim was not necessarily to review equipment but to get an insight into the businesses, how they work and the products they manufacture.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that Karl-Heinz Fink from Finkteam was visiting the UK to receive his What Hi-Fi award for his outstanding contribution to the industry in the world of loudspeaker design.

We recently became dealers for Finkteam and have their Borg floorstanders and Kim standmount loudspeakers in our studio on demonstration.

During our interview we discussed the development of Finkteam, what makes these loudspeakers different to others in the marketplace and I got a very good insight to how Karl-Heinz’ team work to produce these outstanding loudspeakers. We also discussed the recent acquisition of Epos and the re-incarnation of the popular ES14 loudspeaker for a forthcoming episode.
