Through product manufacturing and OEM, Taiko Audio create devices with unique, new features, and excellent quality in sound production. They also develop innovative new components for the DIY market. Their best-known commercial electronics product is the Sound Galleries Music Server, which has made High Performance computing with Audiophile quietness possible.

The company was founded by Emile Bok, who built his first loudspeaker when he was twelve years old. In 2008, he designed and manufactured his first audio products to create the best possible sound experience. He does so in the very high-end segment for clients worldwide for whom top sound quality is paramount. He combines traditional technology with new technology and as a true audiophile, he also tests the sound production by ear. His mission is to innovate in the audio industry by developing new devices and features that produce magnificent sound quality. Taiko Audio SGM Extreme

The Taiko Audio SGM Extreme is a state-of-the-art music server designed to deliver the most realistic sounding/live reproduction from stored music files and streaming music from Qobuz and Tidal.

The hardware architecture is a dual multicore CPU’s running under a Taiko Audio custom assembled operating system built from the ground up using the Windows 10 components designed for industrial controller applications with SOTA process schedulers.  All data and software storage is non SSD, and utilizes non SATA, non-volatile solid state storage modules.

The Taiko Audio SGM Extreme is powered by a linear power supply with choke regulation and a large capacitor bank utilizing the highest audiophile grade Dueland and Mundorf capacitors.

Music files can be stored in the internal storage up to 24 TB or in a NAS (Network attached Storage)

The standard software suite is Roon with delivery of the data stream to JPlay which delivers the data stream to the USB controller.
