Hidden inside each speaker is a Force-Cancelling Subwoofer System: paired subwoofers mounted to fire in opposite directions so their energy cancels out almost all cabinet vibration. Rest your hand on the cabinet during a bass-heavy track and you’ll feel how little it moves. Less wasted energy means more clarity, more detail and bass that goes properly deep without ever turning boomy or vague.

Every room fights the music in its own way. The S3’s automatic room correction listens to yours and smooths out the lumps and bumps – the booms and dead spots that come as standard with real living spaces. Add your own personal EQ and up to three presets, and you can tune the sound to taste in moments. Big room or small, the S3 simply adapts.

The S3 streams in beautiful high resolution from Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect, and is Roon Ready for the dedicated listener. Between the hub and the speakers it uses high-resolution WiSA wireless technology at 24-bit/96kHz – higher resolution than CD – so there are fewer cables to run and nothing lost in the process.

Prefer to keep your existing components? The S3 is just as happy that way. As well as working as a complete system through its hub, each speaker can run as a standalone active speaker via a balanced analogue XLR input on the rear – connect your own source, preamp or separates directly to the speakers and the hub steps aside entirely. And it sounds superb done this way: with the active amplification, force-cancelling cabinet and clever DSP all working in your favour, the S3 makes the very most of whatever you feed it. Effortless all-in-one when you want it, full flexibility – and a genuinely special sound – when you don’t.

The S3 is built to fine-furniture standards, with a CNC-milled solid aluminium tweeter front and a satin-matte cabinet that looks at home in any room. Choose from five cabinet finishes – Titanium Dark Grey and Architect White as standard, with Aluminium Grey, Royal Blue and Pearl Beige available to order – and three tweeter-front colours in Graphite Black, Champagne Gold or Copper Red. Magnetic fabric grilles come as standard: leave them off for critical listening, or on to keep curious little fingers away from the drivers.
